Drop the descriptor submodule from the cortex integration since it is no longer referenced. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
The descriptor module was no longer referenced anywhere in the crate, so it has been deleted to keep the integration surface minimal. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
Move the Cortex transport implementation into a dedicated module directory to make room for additional transport backends. No behaviour changes. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
Erasing a log entry now also removes it from the recall index so stale entries no longer surface in search results. Previously the index kept pointing at erased entries, which could return deleted content. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
The tenant engine module was no longer referenced anywhere in the integrations crate, so it has been deleted to keep the codebase tidy. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>

Erasure on the proxied wire now recognises a request for a tenant's entire memory, its `user:<id>` node with descendants and every kind, and routes it through the single tenant purge instead of forgetting scope by scope. Narrower requests keep the per-scope path, and the direct wire is unchanged. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>

Adds tests for the proxied engine module to verify that the integration wires up correctly. The new cases exercise the proxied path so regressions in that configuration are caught. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
Add tenant-scoped handling to the cortex transport and descriptor modules, with tests covering the new tenant behaviour. This lets integrations route and describe resources per tenant. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
The proxied wire now shares the direct wire's expectations in the consolidate, store, and lifecycle tests, so those match arms accept both variants. Remaining edits are rustfmt reflowing of long expressions and import lists. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>

The architecture notes now describe the one case where an http:// endpoint is accepted at build time: a Kubernetes cluster-service host, which still fails every call with Error::Config until the host opts in via CortexEngine::with_private_network_cleartext(). This covers in-cluster services whose traffic a NetworkPolicy keeps inside the cluster, while all other cleartext hosts remain refused when the engine is built. Reworded the proxied wire's documentation and doc comments to describe a tenant-multiplexing CortexDB proxy in general rather than the cortexdb-saas proxy by name, and clarified that the wire sends only a subset of CortexDB's own `/v1/*` routes. No behaviour changed. Auto-committed-on: macbook Co-authored-by: Medulla <medulla@tinyhumans.ai>
Corrected the doc comments on the proxied engine id and descriptor to refer to a tenant-multiplexing CortexDB proxy rather than cortexdb-saas, and restored the missing `///` on the descriptor doc comment so it is attached to the item instead of dangling. In **reqwest 0.12.28**, the default redirect policy allows up to **10 redirects** and detects loops. The policy itself doesn’t special-case 307 or 308; the redirect handler supports them by attempting to clone and resend the request body. If the body can’t be cloned, that resend may not be possible. ([docs.rs](https://docs.rs/crate/reqwest/0.12.28/source/src/redirect.rs))
`Authorization` is removed when the redirect changes **host or effective port**—not merely because the response is 307/308. Same-host, same-port redirects retain it. ([docs.rs](https://docs.rs/crate/reqwest/0.12.28/source/src/redirect.rs))

Keep opted-in requests on the approved endpoint.
If an opted-in cluster-service request receives a 307 or 308 redirect to another origin, the cleartext and cluster-service checks apply only to the configured endpoint. Reqwest 0.12.28 follows redirects by default and can replay the JSON body while retaining X-Memory-Tenant. Tenant data can therefore leave the approved cluster origin. Disable redirects for this transport or restrict them to the approved origin.

Update the wire overview for the third wire.
The overview at Lines 12-33 still says “Two wires” and “Both descriptors.” Its comparison also omits Proxied. Update that overview, or label the comparison as covering only Direct and TinyHumans. Readers should not have to resolve a contradiction before using the new wire.

Avoid purging service sandboxes outside the reach
When a tenant has memory under user:alice/service:<id>, EraseRequest::new(Reach::subtree(user:alice)) does not admit that service sandbox (Reach::admits excludes a service: node below at), and the normal held_all path would leave it alone. This predicate nevertheless classifies that request as whole-tenant and routes it to v1/tenant/purge, deleting the sandbox (and any other data under the tenant root) even though the request did not name it and whole_tree is false; use the per-scope path unless the caller has explicitly opted into a true whole-tenant erase.

Specify the third wire in the accepted behavior spec
The new public wire's tenant requirement, route subset, and purge semantics appear only in architecture/module docs, while the accepted spec still defines CortexDB as Direct/TinyHumans only (docs/specs/memory-v2.md:288-300) and enumerates erasure behavior only for those two wires (docs/specs/memory-v2.md:230-236). That leaves downstream implementers with a source of truth that contradicts this API and does not record the intentional registry/conformance exclusions; update the spec in this change.

Summary
Adds a third CortexDB wire,
CortexWire::Proxied, for CortexDB behind a tenant-multiplexing proxy. Such a proxy serves many tenants behind one service credential, pins each tenant's scopes under its own root, and forwards a subset of CortexDB's/v1/*routes. One engine can now serve every tenant: each call names its tenant inX-Memory-Tenant, taken from the leadinguser:<id>segment of that call's namespace. Also adds an explicit opt-in for cleartext HTTP to Kubernetes cluster-service hosts (
*.svc,*.svc.cluster.local), for in-cluster services that NetworkPolicy keeps inside the cluster.Note on history: the auto-commit checkpoints on this branch have generated subjects, and some of them are misleading (for example "remove unused descriptor module"). The real change is the one described here and in the diff.
