Hi Etsy API team,

Our Etsy account that we use only for Open API development has been suspended. I filed an appeal on October 6, 2026 and have not received any response after 11 days.

Background

• CustomixTest is a developer test shop, not a real selling shop. It has no real buyers, sales or disputes. We use it only to build and verify our integration.
• To the best of our knowledge we have followed the Etsy API Terms of Use and the API Testing Policy.
• We have not been told why the account was suspended.

Why this is urgent: the suspended account is the same account that owns our production app, which real Etsy sellers rely on. As other threads here describe (e.g. #1355), suspending the owning account can deactivate its apps, so this suspension puts a live integration for real sellers at risk.

Our request

1. Could you escalate appeal #27648271 to the right team for a manual review?
2. If something in our setup or testing violated a policy, please tell us what it was so we can fix it right away.
3. Given that there is no sandbox, what is the recommended setup for a test shop so that it is not flagged again? Should the test shop be separated from the account that owns the production app?
