Interactive Editing Follow-up

  • Ctrl-W uses readline unix-word-rubout: delete trailing whitespace and the preceding word, while retaining the separator before that word (this word | becomes this |).
  • : is a structured-query word boundary: filter:value| becomes filter:|, then |.
  • The shared editor behavior applies to Mission, picker, Commands, Group Jump, keybinding search, worktree-action search, and future LineEditor users.
  • Ctrl-[ is an exact alias for Esc in every interactive surface, including staged/nested close behavior and destructive confirmations.
  • Enter accepts the query or current row exactly as displayed; it never materializes a completion.
  • Tab materializes structured-query completions and cycles forward; Shift-Tab cycles backward. Both wrap through candidates captured from the original draft; editing, cursor movement, scope/source replacement, Enter, or Esc ends that cycle.
  • Mission and picker must share these semantics and retain their cache-only completion behavior.
  • Post-render terminal decoration must restore the cursor to the active editor.

Exit criteria: shared-editor and key-routing parity tests pass, Mission and picker completion tests cover Enter-versus-Tab and wraparound, repository gates pass, and target/debug/wtt is rebuilt.
