First of all, huge thanks to @DigitalRuby (Jeff Johnson) and all contributors for creating and maintaining IPBan — it is an indispensable tool for Windows Server security.

To make managing and monitoring IPBan even easier for sysadmins and DevOps, I developed an open-source graphical management suite: IPBan Control Center.

  • Asynchronous country lookup with local disk caching (geoip_cache.json) — smooth UI with zero lag.

  • Pull the top 1,000–10,000 verified malicious IPs with custom confidence thresholds (90–100%).
  • Kept isolated in a dedicated Blacklist filter so local bans remain clean.

• 🚫 Banned IP & Firewall Rules Inspector:

  • Fast filtering (Local Bans / Whitelist / Cloud Blacklist / All).
  • 1-click Whois lookup via ipinfo.io.
  • Instant unbanning via unban.txt synchronization.
  • Self-lockout protection: buttons to automatically detect and whitelist local adapter and public WAN IPs.

• 💾 Persistent Settings Engine:

  • Machine-wide configuration (C:\ProgramData\IPBanControlCenter\settings.json) that safely preserves your API keys, protocol selections, and preferences across reboots and version upgrades.

• 📦 Zero Dependencies:

  • Fully self-contained portable executable (IPBanControlCenter.exe) and wizard installer (Setup_IPBanGUI.exe).
  • Available in English and Ukrainian with automatic OS locale detection.
